We’ve been very busy here lately. Packing, painting and DIY in preparation for the house swap with our daughter and son-in-law in a couple of weeks. You can read about the house swap here.
My amazingly talented husband is adding a bath to the soon to be new house and while he is taking care of that, I have been painting and packing at the present house.
Our granddaughters chose their bedrooms and colors and I got busy painting.
Ashlynn (9) chose a pretty color that I call turquoise but everyone else says is more a Tiffany box blue! Unfortunately the camera didn’t catch the exact color in these shots. Ashlynn hasn’t decided on accent colors just yet.
On the other hand, Emilie (12) has been waiting for her own room and planning for quite a while! She chose white with a Coral accent wall. She’s going with a white, gray and coral theme with a pop of teal.
The other two bedrooms (office and craft room) are full to the brim with boxes! Ryder and Tatum’s bedrooms will have to wait until all the boxes and bedding are moved.
This is pretty much what most of the rest of the house looks like too! Bare wall and boxes everywhere!
Needless to say, I haven’t been doing much in the way of crafting, working on the blog, or my Etsy shop.
Hopefully, the move will take place the weekend of the 19th and we can get down to the business of getting settled.
See you soon,
Karen
karen , I have loved that your daughter lived right in back of you and now she lives in front of you. Always neighbors!!! Doesn’t get any better than that! hugs
