I’m not a huge Valentines Day decorator, but I do like to have a few little items to mark the holiday. This year I decided to make a Valentine’s Day Pom Pom Heart Wreath and Garland.
These two projects are very easy and super fast! You can make both in less than 2 hours!

Pom Pom Heart Wreath
1- 7″ foam heart
Enough scrap fabric to wrap the foam heart completely
2 bags of Pom Poms
Glue Gun and Glue sticks
Heat up your glue gun and cut your fabric into 2-3 inch wide strips. Wrap the fabric around the wreath form snugly and glue into place as needed. This gives the pom poms a good surface to adhere to.
Open your pom poms and start gluing pom poms randomly to the wreath front and sides (so if you look at it from the side you don’t see the fabric). Make sure you stagger the colors!
Continue gluing until the whole front and sides of the wreath are covered. Here is a front and back view!
Pom Pom Garland
Again super simple!
1-2 bags of red, white and pink pom poms (depending on how long you want your garland)
a large eyed needle
red and white bakers twine
Now, since I wasn’t sure how long I wanted to make this garland, I didn’t actually cut the baker’s twine to length until I was happy that it was long enough. Just thread your needle with the loose end of the baker’s twine to start. Then insert the needle into the center of the first pom pom. Keep adding pom poms, sliding them down the length of bakers twine until you reach your desired length. . If you are using more than one color be sure to put them in the same order – i.e. red, white, pink, red, white, pink. When you are satisfied with the length cut the twine and tie a know in each end.
Now you have an adorable garland to go with your wreath!
