Well, Hello 2014!
2013 has literally flown by!
It’s been a year filled with celebrations of all sorts. Most happily, we have been blessed with a new addition to our family, a sweet baby girl named Tatum. I thought you might like to know a little about my immediate family–the people who make my heart beat, who make me happy!
Papa and Emmy, Ryder and Ashlynn
My husband Joe, our daughters, son-in-law,and grandchildren are the most important people in my life. We are blessed with an enormous family and we always have a great time together. For now, I’m just going to introduce you to my “immediate” family!
We are blessed with two daughters–Katelyn and Tamara–beautiful inside and out. They are caring, generous, loving, honest, young women and we are so proud of them. Kate is our oldest daughter, single at present, and works for a commercial property management company. She lives nearby and thankfully I see her a few times a week.
Tami is married to Ed (an awesome husband, father and more a “son” than “son-in-law”) and they have four children–Emilie, Ashlynn, Ryder and Tatum- and big brother Hayden, who is Ed’s oldest son. Hayden was three when Tami and Ed started dating. I call him our bonus boy–he’s nearly 17 now!
Tami and Ed purchased the house right behind us just before they married 13 + years ago and I get to see them and my grandchildren every day. It was actually Ed’s idea–they were living with us and saving at the time. He hasn’t installed electric fence or barbed wire, so I guess he doesn’t mind! I am the most spoiled grandmother in the world and I thank God for my family every day!
There have been a lot of changes to my blog and shop this year. I decided to change, move and expand my shop. It’s been a ton of work, but very satisfying at the same time. It is, however, taking much longer than I had ever imagined–a real labor of love. Finding a rhythm with the blog and working on the shop hasn’t been easy, but I think I’ve finally gotten a handle on things!
Here are a few items from the shop–there is so much more to see including, recycled decor and handmade!
