I have a really easy and adorable craft for you today–A “Kisses & Hugs” Valentine’s Day garland! I used my Cricut but this can easily be done with a stencil and scissors as well.

Supply List
1 12 x 12 inch sheet red cardstock
1 12 x 12 inch sheet white glitter cardstock
**If you don’t have a Cricut, you can print the X & O on your computer and trace it**
This garland has 14 X’s and 14 O’s. I used one half of a sheet of red cardstock and one half sheet of white glitter cardstock!
Next step is to either trace and cut your X’s and O’s or, if you have a Cricut Explore or Maker to “design” your page of each and cut.
Here’s a shot of what my Cricut Design Space looked like. I repeated the process using the Letter “O”. Then cut with the Cricut Explore.
(white glitter cardstock does NOT photograph well)
Next step is to plug in your glue gun and Baker’s Twine and start gluing. I found that placing the letters face down worked best. Unroll your twine leaving a length of about 10 inches before you glue the first “X”. Apply two dots of glue to the top of the back of the “X” and place your twine on the glue.
Continue placing “X’s” and “O’s” until you reach your desired length! That’s it. Super simple and really cute!
You can see how to make the pom pom garland and a pom pom wreath in this post!
Happy Valentines Day!
