How to Make Yarn Covered Easter Eggs
This week flew by!
Here it is Easter Eve and I am just now posting a quick tutorial on How to Make Yarn Covered Easter Eggs!
Better late than never, I suppose!
Step 1. Center a dot of glue on either the top or bottom center of the egg and apply your yarn (or string). Let sit a second
Step 2. Apply a dab of glue and swirl the yarn to form a circle pattern, making sure to keep the yard tight to the strand before it. You don’t want your egg to show through between the yarn.
Step 3. Continue applying lines of glue and yarn–keep it close together–until you reach the top of the egg. Put a dot of glue on the top, snip the yarn and stuff it in the blank are of the top to cover the hole.
Done! How’s that for easy!
Now you just have to decide where you want to use them.
I put mine under a cloche with a nest and birds! Go figure, right?
Hope you all have a very Happy Easter!
