Create with Chalk Couture -NO ARTISTIC TALENT NEEDED!
A few weeks ago I was introduced to a new crafting/home decor idea that has so many creative options and produces such beautiful home decor and accessories that I could not wait share it with all of you! The best part is you don’t need to know how to hand letter (I just cannot make it look pretty) or draw. There is NO ARTISTIC TALENT NEEDED! I’m relatively new to the company but after purchasing and using the products, I didn’t want to wait a minute longer to tell you about them!
Crafters, DIY’ers and Entrepreneurs (yes, entrepreneurs) meet Chalk Couture!
WHAT IS Chalk Couture?
Chalk Couture products consist of Chalk Paste, Chalk Couture Transfers and Surfaces. They also have inks which become permanent when heat set. These products allow you to create gorgeous decor (and more) in a few fast and easy steps. The transfers and chalk paste can be applied to a ton of different surfaces including prepared wood, chalk board, glass, mirrors, metal, even walls-lots of options. Inks become permanent once heat set and can be used on glass (think mugs, dishes etc) and fabric (think t-shirts, pillows, totes, clothing) and other surfaces!
The Chalk past is a more liquid version of regular old chalk, its a creamy consistency which allows it to penetrate the transfer. The transfer is similar to a silk screen and they can be used over and over again! There are a ton of designs and your can mix and match them. The colors are gorgeous! They also sell surfaces- framed chalk boards in assorted shapes and sizes. You can check them out HERE!
Here is a very small sampling of some of the transfers and surfaces available.
Simply choose your transfer, your surface and either chalk or ink colors and you’re ready to create something beautiful!
Here’s a video that shows you how to use the paste!
Did I tell you the best part? You can use your surface over and over again if you choose. You see, chalk paste is not permanent (unless you seal it with a spray acrylic).
Lets say you purchase one of the larger magnetic chalk boards in a gorgeous frame and put it in your kitchen. And let’s say that you find a beautiful holiday transfer that you want to display. You create that gorgeous holiday image on that chalk board and enjoy it through the holiday season. Now, when the holiday is over, you’re not stuck with a Christmas image that you have to pack away till next year, because all you need do is wet the chalk paste and wash it off and you’re free to create whatever design you choose next. Just pick another transfer and start over. Celebrate a holiday or special life event or just create a beautiful piece for your home. All it takes is literally a few minutes. Of course, if you want to make it permanent, just spray with clear acrylic spray! It’s that simple! How’s that for versatile!

Incredible, right? A gorgeous example of how you can use Chalk Couture!
This gorgeousness was created by a fellow “Chalker” Gail Fussell Barker, on a chalkboard at the hair salon she goes to! This is a perfect example of one of the many ways you can use Chalk Couture. Sprayed with clear sealer this can be a permanent piece of art for this salon-OR-unsealed it can be changed up with the seasons–just wash it off!
What an awesome way for businesses to display sales and special events–so many ways to use this stuff!
I love that Chalk Couture provides videos on how to use their transfers, chalk paste and inks with complete instructions on how to use them!
Chalk Couture is a business opportunity similar to many multi level marketing, home party type businesses- but with a TWIST!
When you sign up to become an Independent Chalk Couture Designer you have many options on how you conduct your business–if you choose to conduct a business at all!
HERE ARE SOME OF YOUR OPTIONS
- Purchase Your Kit for $99 (over $230 in chalk paste, transfers, and surfaces and tools) and simply take advantage of purchasing your supplies at 40% off retail for your personal use! You never have to sell a thing if you choose not to.
- Once you become hooked on Chalk Couture and people see what you can do, they’re going to want to try it too! Use your online Chalk Couture Shop to take retail orders for Chalk Couture supplies to family and friends and the public and enjoy earning 25% of every retail sale.
- You can sell your Chalk Couture creations!
- You can do “Make & Take Chalk Parties” (similar to paint parties that you see so much of lately) and put together kits and teach students how to create with Chalk Couture Chalk Paste and/or Inks.
- Start your own business, create your own Team of Independent Chalk Couture Designers and enjoy a percentage based on their sales.
- Of course, if you want to do the traditional home party where you share the products, demonstrate them and take orders for them you can do that too!
You can do as much or as little as you like, it’s entirely up to you! How’s that for options! The beauty of this is you don’t have to commit to any of these options, just do what you feel. Or, come up with your own ideas!
