I’m a bad blogger–really. I start projects and get so involved that I forget to take photos. When I do take photos, they are taken with my iPhone. I’m impatient and hate photo editing. I don’t follow a “schedule”– at all. I should probably hang my head in shame, but I don’t do a post for every single holiday, nor do I even decorated for things like Valentines Day and St Patrick’s Day. I do Seasons and Major holidays, but not all the little one day and gone holidays. Simply cannot be bothered–sad, I know. Is there a blogger hell?
I blog about my home and yard projects, about gifts I make, decor for the house and items I put in my shop, The Decorated Nest Shop on Etsy.
Keeping that in mind I wanted to show you a couple of quick things that I have done in between working on the guest room, entertaining out of town guests and just plain living life.

This is the display I did this year of my grandchildren’s photos. I had this cute rack hanging in my office and used my Cricut Explore to cut out patterned paper clipboards. I put the photos on with double-sided tape and clipped them onto the rack.
How easy is that! Cute kids, right?
Lots of empty clips to add candid shots taken throughout the year too!
We have a few weddings coming up soon and here is one of the shower gifts I made for a shower last Sunday.
Don’t know why it’s showing up blue in the photo (see, awesome photography and editing skills), it’s black but the bride-to-be was very happy and I had a few inquiries about orders too! It was made with painted pallet wood and vinyl lettering and embellishments cut with my Cricut Explore This is a custom item and available for order in the shop!
Things are getting busy around here. I love this time of year.
Thanks for stopping by,

Karen,
You made a beautiful gift for the bridal shower. Maybe the blue is white like the dress a few weeks back. Anyway I wanted to assure you all bloggers go to heaven. After all the great stuff we do for each other in life. There is no way we haven’t earned some wings.
Happy Creating,
Karen Marie
Thanks Karen Marie. Maybe you’re right about the blue dress thing LOL!
